Tring Farmers Market began in May 1999 to promote the sale of local food for local people.  

One of the longest established independent farmers markets in the United Kingdom, Tring Farmers Market has gained a reputation as a really friendly vibrant local and ethical shopping experience.  

At the market you will regularly find regional and seasonal vegetables, local cheeses, free-range eggs, rare-breed and locally raised meat and poultry, local honey, artisan breads, locally pressed artisan cooking oil, home-made cakes and gourmet pies, with a growing selection of organic produce and specialist items including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free ranges. With hot food regularly available and a few alcoholic beverages to tempt you. 

There are a growing band of gifted artisan craft-makers and growers too. from plants, cut flowers, herbs; along with Candles, ethical soaps and beauty and skincare products, homewares, that help promote sustainability, and you can also pick up many a regular seasonal delight at our special Easter, Spring and Christmas Markets.

All food is either made or grown locally and the people serving you are usually the producers who are willing to answer any questions regarding the products.
